| SETapex is an exceptionally small and light apex locator which attaches to the patient's napkin. During root canal treatment, the instrument remains in the field of vision near the patient's mouth, so you can accurately follow the progress of the file.
Despite its small size the SETapex® locator works at a very high level of accuracy (95%)* because it is based on computerised digital technology.
Using the SETadapty® clip it can be attached to the SETendo® handpiece, allowing permanent measurement of the root canal during preparation.
The file's progress is monitored by five LEDs, with indicators distributed every half millimetre showing the depth of progress in the root canal. A red LED lights up the moment the SETapex® identifies the location of the biological apex.
